1996 em
My parents purchased me my first cell phone in 1997 when I got a job that required a long commute.
I was thinking this morning how different it was in 1996 when people would only have the option to call you on a home phone, send a letter, or an email since i did have that at the time.
On occasion now i let some negative people in my life and given the multiple easy modes of communication today with text, instant messengers, social media apps, I decided that the best way to cut out people like that from your life is to do something i will call 1996-ing them.. Basically block their ability to text you, or message you incessantly.
Sadly sometimes you have to do that.
